Lapsang Souchong tea, native to Fujian Province, China, is also known as the pioneer of black tea.

It is known from history that Fujian Wuyishan Han farmers who lived in the late Qing Dynasty created this unique tea. Production takes place in the village of Paulownia, which is located in the main protected area of national nature, world culture and natural heritage, known as the "World Biological Window". The history of the birthplace of Wuyishan Tongmu Guan is about 400 years.

The leaves of this tea are medium in size and have a predominant aroma of pine resin. The prepared tea is dark amber in colour and emits a strong smoky aroma that can be a little overwhelming during the first sip.
