Huang Shan Mao Feng

Huang Shan Mao Feng is one of the most popular green teas in China, with a long-lasting floral aroma and fresh, sweet taste. This tea is special in that it is grown at an altitude of 800 meters and the leaves are picked by hand from wild trees. High pressure and low temperature create ideal conditions for the growth of sweet juicy leaves. The cut leaves are young - only at the stage of the bud and one unfolded leaf, and when processed become yellowish-green, flat, slightly curved and covered with silver hairs. This type of tea is usually harvested in April of each year for revealing the best properties of the tea.

An interesting fact is that this kind of Huang Shan Mao Feng is made into an apricot-flavored drink with an interesting magnolia scent. Perhaps the wild peach trees that bloom in the hills surrounding Huangshan in Anhui Province give this drink a special aroma. And perhaps that’s why China includes it in the top ten best-known teas in China. Huangshan tea consumers also claim that the first cup is the most fragrant, the second the sweetest, and the third the strongest.

Huang Shan Mao Feng Tea Preparation

Serving Size: 3 - 5g.

Pour 150ml of 60 - 90 ℃ temperature water, keep for 2 - 4 minutes.

For iced tea: 3g of tea, 150 ml of water, refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours and then the tea will be ready.
